Case Management Supervisor

Department: Artemis House 2
Location: Fairfax County, VA

Title:  Case Management Supervisor

Department:  Artemis House Region I

Reports to: Director of Artemis House & Programs, Region I

FLSA Status:  Exempt


Salary Range: $46,000-50,000/ yr. 


Summary of Position:

Shelter House is expanding Artemis House, Fairfax Countyís only 24 hour emergency shelter for victims of domestic and sexual violence and human trafficking.  The Case Management Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the service delivery team at Artemis Houseís South County location, in addition to providing case management services to a reduced caseload of shelter households. The Case Management Supervisor directly supervises 2 Case Managers and a part-time Housing Locator. Additionally, the  Case Management Supervisor supports the Director of South Artemis in maintaining efficient, safe operation of the 28-bed shelter facility and ensuring client needs are met. The Case Management Supervisor will collaborate with the Residential Supervisor to ensure consistent delivery of client services across the Artemis South team.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • A bachelor's degree in the social work field or commensurate experience

  • 3+ years of experience working with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

  • 3+ years of program and staff management

  • Strong public speaking and communication skills

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize competing priorities and make sound judgements

  • Valid Driverís License

  • Willingness work evenings and weekends when needed


Preferred:

  • A master's degree in a social work strongly preferred.

  • Experience leading/ supporting programs serving homeless families and victims of domestic violence/ sexual violence

  • Experience leading/managing in a residential environment



Physical Requirements:

  • Annual TB Test is required

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods

  • Ability to lift items weighing 10-20 pounds
